this video game right here inspired me to rap. no bullshit! i saw these lil dudes and i thought my young ass could do it too. i think i was in 3rd grade / like 8-9 years old. was gonna ask my cousin lawrence to click up with me and enter the world of child rap. that ain’t happen though. but i did go to warehouse music and buy the kriss kross - totally krossed out album. first cd i ever bought! i still remember the makaveli and spice girls - spice world posters all around the store that day.
this was a lil FMV game where you “edited” the kriss kross music videos that was narrated by a super corny white DJ that guided you thru it all. they also made the same kinda game for marky mark & the funky bunch lol.
“i missed the bus” is one of the most heartwarming tales of life as a kid ever.
