We been gettin’ it in, in Los Angeles since the beginning of 2012 working on two new Fat Tony & Tom Cruz albums that will be out this year in the Spring and Fall, God willing. Fuck with us. While staying together for a couple weeks in NYC working on the next Fat Tony album (actually in Jersey City, New Jersey at Jason Scott aka @SOTRnyc house cuz of some shit, but that’s another story) we knocked out 4 videos for Tom Cruz’s songs “Maluca” (dedicated to the sexy Dominicana on Diplo’s Mad Decent label), “Jumpoff” (featuring yours truly), “Aye Jason” (dedicated to Tom Cruz’s manager Jason Scott who part-time raises us like a step-daddy), and “Double Dragon” (featured above and also featuring your favorite rap nigga on verse 2).

LISDARGAB
RABDARGAB is a reference to Fat Tony’s childhood in the Houston Indepedent School District. The term was a campaign to promote literacy in school by offering little bad ass kids money. The term originally stood for Read a Book, Do a Report, Get a Buck.

The whole record is hot I’ve been bangin it out since Sunday. Feels like a different vibe than their last album Shut Up, Dude. Less clearly silly songs, more great subtly silly rappity rap rap. Got a lot of big name producers and collaborators too so you know it’s gotta be good. Even Diplo co-signed it.
