@MisterHeavenly, rock ‘n’ roll super group consisting of modern indie rock legends Nick “Diamonds” Thorburn (Islands/The Unicorns), Ryan Kattner (Man Man), and Joe Plummer (Modest Mouse), and me will be playing a couple Texas shows together next Monday and Tuesday! Monday, August 29 we’ll be in Denton, TX at Hailey’s and spend the next day (Tuesday, August 30) in Austin, TX at the Mohawk.
I’ve played with these young men a couple times before and even got Nick Diamonds singin’ his heart out with me on a new song “Bad Habits” (which also features probably the best rapper I’ve ever met face to face Bun B of UGK) out soon as the b-side to my next single release “Good While It Lasted”. Both produced by Tom Cruz, of course.

All going down on this fine hump day evening at @warehouselive where I rocked this past weekend w/ Z-Ro, Slim Thug, Devin the Dude, Afroman, and the homie UZOY (once again!). The concert was off the chain and all organized (and done very well) by a young Jewish 18 year old white boy named Layne. With all the money he’s made so far off rap shows he’s already got a bright future in the “urban music” industry. I’ve never seen so many parents at a concert while their kids and their friends smoke weed in my life. I almost offered the blunt to a MILF my damn self.
