billy joel outta control.
Had a in depth convo with my bro @fattonyrap last night at The Flat about this. “AFRICANS UNITE”
Birth of a Nation 4*29*1992. Thanks @noz for putting me on to this via cocaineblunts.com. Award winning low budget documentary all about the L.A. riots sparked by the Rodney King verdict and years on years on years on years on years of fucked up living conditions and trauma. Features tons of live footage.
I couldn’t even imagine what this would be like in America today. Will this happen again in my children’s lifetime? My children’s children’s lifetime? I don’t know.
Tamra Davis directed this Sir Smoka Lot video?! Nice. My friend @jawnita interviewed Tamra Davis about her very, very excellent Basquiat documentary Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child which I have watched probably 20 times this year (and just might watch again right now as Half Baked plays on my television). I highly recommend the film to anyone interested in art, graffiti, american culture, punk rock, rebels & radicals, intelligence, courage, famous black people with predominantly white fans, hip hop, new wave, fans of Fat Tony, or any other cool buzzword representative of 1980’s progressive creative culture.
Tamra Davis also directed CB4, Half Baked, Billy Madison and more lovely movies & TV. She’s also Mike D from the Beastie Boys wife which is way cool.

Rep for my City.
@HollywoodFLOSS is very ill. The first producer/rapper I worked with on my very first solo project The Love Life EP and The Tipping Point & Fly68 Presents Fat Tony mixtape in 2007 + 2008. Thanks a lot. We still got some songs from 2009/2010 around that I don’t think anyone’s heard yet. Maybe they’ll hit the internet one day! Fuck with this young man the long way.

The Notorious B.U.M. H-Town classic right here, y’all. 3rd Ward, nigga. 2006 throwback. This was hot my first semester of university when YouTube was just gettin extra poppin. So many quotables, so much money being thrown on the floor, so many bitches getting their booty bitten… Damn. Shot right down the street from my home outside the Wendy’s next to the Shipley’s and Burger King across from the University of Houston.
But on a real serious note the homeless problem in America has always fucked with me. I really believe many of these men and women on the streets are mentally unstable and have some disabilities that need some serious medical attention which causes them to act so damn wild & crazy. Being a psychology student a few years ago and having an autistic brother really makes me care tremendously about those mentally incapable of taking care of themselves in regular society. Don’t know what I can do to help but one day I want to help in a big way.
Paul Mooney: Analyzing White America
An hour long, going strong. Still the king of comedy / controversy / commentary.
@ChazVanQueen done came down with an ill lil’ new video featuring @veeveeveeveevee (Kool A.D. of Das Racist) that reminds me of being really happy, young, and free. Feelings that seem to fade away the older you get when you let yourself get swamped with everything but yourself. I love swings. I can’t even lie. Even though I’m a quasi-grown ass man I still like to dip off in the park from time to time and hop on the swings to free my mind. I be on them hoes with headphones on secured tight feeling like I’m bout to touch the sun with every swing, reflecting on all I know and all I wanna know.
Chaz got a new album coming out soon too called A Smile For You. You should probably buy it.
