Paul Mooney: Analyzing White America

An hour long, going strong. Still the king of comedy / controversy / commentary.

@ChazVanQueen done came down with an ill lil’ new video featuring @veeveeveeveevee (Kool A.D. of Das Racist) that reminds me of being really happy, young, and free. Feelings that seem to fade away the older you get when you let yourself get swamped with everything but yourself. I love swings. I can’t even lie. Even though I’m a quasi-grown ass man I still like to dip off in the park from time to time and hop on the swings to free my mind. I be on them hoes with headphones on secured tight feeling like I’m bout to touch the sun with every swing, reflecting on all I know and all I wanna know.

Chaz got a new album coming out soon too called A Smile For You. You should probably buy it.

JAWWAAD got some new shit for that ass. Y’all might know his Houston born & raised and world traveling self from the group Shape of Broad Minds with one of my favorite producers Jneiro Jarel (http://youtu.be/Qa3SBKuAT2I | http://youtu.be/tU_0dJeVV8s). Enjoy.

Beat On The Muse Productions©, in conjunction with The House of Greenwood, present an innovative leap into the music arena of fresh new hip-hop artist JAWWAAD. This creatively visual piece features two tracks off JAWWAAD’s first album, “The Bully Love Set”. An intro snippet of smooth electro-ambience entitled “Wingtip” leads us off into the feel-good soul sound of “Too Sharp Wi† It”.

Designed so that the viewer has to watch more than twice to catch the subtle surprises, JAWWAAD’s video has a surreal quality, that draws the viewer in. This artwork is a poignant expression of this emcee’s prowess.

Lil’ Wayne dropped this half-hour P.S.A. speaking his mind right chea about drank, tattoos, emulating idols, and more. And he got a lot of good points, I can’t even lie. Listen up, niggas. Young and old.

“MISUNDERSTOOD BUT HE’S STRONG! I CAN RELATE TO THAT.” / “HE’S SO HOT. HE’S A GUY IN TIGHTS SPRAYING STICKY STUFF EVERYWHERE.” / “OUT OF ALL THE SUPERHEROES, HE IS THE HOTTEST.”

@SISSYNOBBY new video “PSYCHO”. This shit is wild in all the ways I find entertaining. The scene where Sissy is strapped in tight while all the lives lost runs through his mind until he breaks free to mourn via dancing the pain away… #luvitmayne

And he sampling “Mambo No. 5”? Got damn.

The Memories, one of my most favorite bands that has members who have crashed at my house ever, has a video for my most favorite song by them “Softly”.

The Memories are Kyle and Erik from White Fang and Chris and Izak from BOOM! All these dudes are Gnar Tapes residents and very rad dudes from Portland, OR. If you know how much I enjoy White Fang and pop music and weed and girls then I’m sure you’ll love this right here. Total stoner makeout music.

They got a new video too for “Higher”http://www.vimeo.com/29739315

So do like the Pimp (C) would say and… “smoke something, bitch!”

Get their music immediately:
